Welcome to the LocalGov Drupal demo site! This site has been created to demonstrate some of what LocalGov Drupal can do with a default installation. Explore the different types of content below.
Core content types
Service pages are the most commonly used type of page, they're useful if you're creating content that addresses one user need or task, is relatively brief or can fit on one single page.
Use a Service Landing Page for the homepage of a section, showing title, introductory paragraph, common task links, links to Service Pages etc
Step-by-step pages are useful if you're creating content where the user has to follow a process. This could include registering, applying for or renewing something.
Guide pages are useful when you want to group together a collection of connected pages. They are similar to step by steps but the user is not expected the follow the pages in order.
Directories are used to group together contact and location information for a broad range of topics that is needed to meet a user need.
Events are similar to directories, listing multiple entries of events, with mapping, events details, contact details and more.
Subsites allow you to create a separate section of the site with it's own internal navigation. It is relatively easy to visually make the whole subsite look different to the rest of the site.
A newsroom is the index page for all your news articles, with up to three “featured” News Articles listed at the top of the page.
A news article has a date and a story, you can extend it with an image, related articles and related terms.
